August Topic: Investigations with Fort Wayne Metro: What to Expect and How to Prepare with Nikki Quintana
Uncertainty can make investigations stressful. This training provides an overview of Fort Wayne Metro’s role and responsibilities while clearly explaining the investigation process, helping employers understand what to expect and how to prepare.
Nikki Quintana leads the City’s civil rights agency in enforcing laws that prohibit discrimination in employment, housing, education, and public accommodations. With more than a decade of experience in civil rights enforcement and administrative law, she represents the Commission, directs staff, and oversees agency operations. In this role, Quintana has strengthened agency systems by reducing case age, improving investigative processes, and expanding community outreach. Quintana is deeply committed to promoting an environment of inclusivity and acceptance within the City of Fort Wayne.
During her keynote presentation Nikki will be covering:
- Who is Metro?
- What Metro does (laws they enforce, etc.).
- What is discrimination?
- Explain in detail the Metro process (intake to investigation).
- Onsite investigations, mediation, tips, and what to expect during an investigation
- Ending Session with HR & Employer Q & A - come prepared with your questions!
