Access for All: Understanding Digital Accessibility

Thursday, April 16, 2026 (1:30 PM - 2:30 PM) (EDT)

Description

What does digital accessibility really mean, and why does it matter for your organization right now?

As expectations around accessible digital experiences continue to grow, many schools, colleges, businesses, nonprofits, and civic organizations are asking important questions. What makes a website accessible? What does WCAG 2.2 involve? And how do evolving federal guidelines affect the way we communicate and serve others online?

The Access for All webinar is designed to help Allen County organizations better understand the role digital accessibility plays in creating inclusive, effective online experiences. From websites and online forms to digital documents and public information, accessibility is about making sure more people can fully engage in civic, academic, and economic life.

In Allen County, we believe access should not end at the front door. It should extend to every digital space where people learn, connect, work, and participate. This webinar will provide practical insight into what digital accessibility means, why it matters, and how organizations can begin taking meaningful steps forward.

This webinar is in partnership with The League and Purdue University Fort Wayne.
