Off to the Races Derby Party

MAY 4, 2019 • 4:00-7:30PM Rack and Helen’s Social House – 4935 Hillegas Road Join the Junior League of Fort Wayne for our 2nd Annual “Off to the Races” Derby Party! This Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser features the derby’s signature drink, the Mint Julep, southern fare, a hat parade, as well as a raffle, silent auction, wine pull, and horse race viewing party! Derby attire is encouraged; think big hats, bow ties, dresses, and more. Ladies, (and Gents), are invited to participate in the Hats on Parade contest. Design and create your own millinery masterpiece, or show off your ready-made headdress. All hats are welcome and one lucky winner will be crowned, JLFW Queen of Hats 2019! If hats aren’t your thing, there will be plenty of southern comforts to enjoy. With a menu of traditional southern small bites, delectable desserts, and inspired cocktails, you will feel as if you were at Churchill Downs. Get ready to bid on a wide selection of auction items and take part in our wine pull and raffles. Proceeds support the Junior League of Fort Wayne’s signature program, First Things, First, and other community initiatives. Tickets are $50 per person, $90 per couple, or $260 for a group of 6 guests (new this year!).
