GFW Inc. Women's Network Webinar "Better Together: A Guide to Allyship"
Join us for this virtual event in our Women's Network webinar series!
This year has been extremely difficult amid a global pandemic and civil unrest, but one that has forced us all to grow and accept the need for change. We know that many feel helpless and question what we can do to help or create a better system rooted in solidarity. The Greater Fort Wayne Inc. Women's Network believes that a starting point for positive change begins with honest conversation, educating ourselves, raising awareness, and then acting on that knowledge.
We invite you to join us for an open discussion about racism, implicit bias, microaggressions, and being an ally to all underrepresented individuals. "Better Together: A Guide to Allyship" will feature breakout connection time, a powerful panel of women and men sharing their experiences and expertise, and audience Q&A to get advice on how to begin the work to amplify oppressed voices. History transforms when we align our gifts, skills, and resources in the pursuit of a greater purpose. This purpose is simple: we are all better together and we must take the lead to ensure our community's rise leaves no one behind.
