Event Description:
Join Greater Fort Wayne Inc. for the 2018 Inter-City Visit to Greenville, South Carolina. We'll revisit one of our first ICV cities, hear updates on their progress and learn how they've continued their growth and development.
Why Participate in an Inter-City Visit? Inter-city visits offer the opportunity for business and community leaders to get new ideas. It allows our civic leaders the opportunity see and learn about innovative programs that may have promise for adaptation in the Greater Fort Wayne community. Inter-city visits provide the opportunity to learn about the challenges of such efforts and may help our community avoid certain pitfalls in our own efforts. Thoroughly shared experiences of the Inter-city Visit and a common foundation of information and understanding delegates become a more cohesive team to solve problems and address challenges on behalf of the community.
Greater Fort Wayne Inc. strives to negotiate the best terms for this group experience. The trips are not a vacation. Participants will have limited free time and should plan accordingly. We ask that participants refrain from taking phone calls and conducting business during the presentations as most if not all presenters are taking time from their busy schedules for us.
Attire is business casual. A sport coat may be required at some dining establishments and we usually host a welcome reception the evening of our arrival.
Bus transfers to and from the airport will depart on time. Please be sure to note the final distributed agenda. All participants are required to travel with the group. This helps stimulate conversation, networking and idea sharing that otherwise will not happen.
