OTD Program Coordinator - Fort Wayne

 Huntington University has an opening for a Program Coordinator in our Occupational Therapy, Doctoral Program in Fort Wayne, Indiana.   
The OTD Program Assistant performs administrative duties for the director, assistant director, academic fieldwork coordinator, capstone coordinator, faculty, students, and committees of the department of occupational therapy; serves as the assistant budget manager for the department; provides student, clerical, and faculty support; plans department events; and provides on-site support to faculty and students. This is a full-time, 12-month per year position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ
  • Commitment to stewardship of University resource and strong desire to serve others
  • Two or more years of administrative support experience required
  • Familiarity with event planning preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organizational ability, attention to detail, and computer literacy required
  • Knowledge of office procedures, equipment, and software (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in typing, filing, and other clerical skills
  • Ability to track and maintain a large volume of documents and processes
  • Commitment to confidentiality
  • Willingness to learn new databases and software
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
