Robotics Camp @ Phil's Hobby Shop

Phil's Hobby Shop Presents - Summer Robotics Camp. Join us this summer for a hands-on learning experience using LEGO Mindstorm Robotics. Campers will explore the world of robotics by building several different robots with a team while learning how to program those robots to complete challenges daily. This camp is sure to appeal to all ages as campers will work together to build a Pupbot and train it, compete in a Sumobot tournament, and design and build an Olympianbot programmed to go for the gold! Prior experience is not required but the the fun experience of building and coding is contagious. At the end of the week campers will understand and apply the engineering design process as well as basic block coding skills. Campers will work collaboratively to utilize their problem solving skills to partake in team challenges. Campers will gain critical thinking experience in a team environment while completing pre-designed and team engineered robots for various purposes. Each camp section is one week long featuring half day sessions each day.
