Guest Speaker: Barbie Sparr

Barbie joined Mercer in 2005 as the Indianapolis office's compliance manager. After three years, she moved into a Consulting role, managing a book of business across all segments of group size and industries. Barbie advises clients on all aspects of employee benefits, insurance, retirement, talent and total rewards. While Barbie currently co-chairs Mercer’s “Stop Loss Center of Excellence” for self-funded groups, she also has significant experience in the small, fully insured, group market and their unique needs. Barbie's broad background in employee benefits comes from working for another global insurance consulting firm for 9 years and a national medical carrier for 6 years. Just prior to joining Mercer, she performed analytics and training for a national insurance agency alliance.
