We've all been there…we attend a conference or workshop that excites our imagination and stirs our inner leader. Our notebook is filled with life changing principles and new ideas that could move us to become the leader we desire to be. However…once we return to the grind of the day those conference notebooks full of ideas get shut in a desk drawer and never make it to the light of day. We want to partner with you to put an end to this "leadership stifling" pattern.
This past November, GFW Inc. hosted the Leadercast Women event. It provided an empowering leadership experience for men and women alike. Attendees were able to listen to leaders from all walks of life and learn powerful leadership insights from the all-female speaker lineup.
Leadercast NEXT Luncheon is a series of “best of” leadership concepts and principles from the Leadercast Women's event. We want to help you take your and your organization's leadership to an entirely new level. Once a month beginning in January, leaders of every kind will gather for lunch and deep discussions on key leadership principles. These leadership luncheons are open to anyone who wants to learn, grow and take their leadership to the NEXT level.
The January Leadercast Next luncheon will feature the topic “The Art of Real Conversation” with Celeste Headlee. “Real conversation requires a mutual exchange where both people are changed by what’s happening. When you talk, you are repeating what you already know. But if you listen, you learn something new.”
- Have better conversations, not necessarily more.
- We’re in a distraction epidemic. Multitasking will reduce the quality of tasks by 25 percent.
