Beethoven Leonore Overture No. 1, Op. 138
Beethoven Concerto for Piano, Violin, Cello and Orchestra in C Major, Op. 56, “Triple Concerto”
Beethoven Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92
Beethoven’s “Triple Concerto” is a tour de force for the soloists, exploring motifs and contrasting moods, like three characters in a play. Repeated three times in the weeks following its premiere, "applause rose to the point of ecstasy" for Beethoven’s 7th Symphony. Blazing, wild, breathless and utterly joyful, it continues to be a work of enduring artistic significance and popularity more than 200 years after its premiere.
