Event Description:
This GFW Inc. Lunch features experts who are battling the biggest public health crisis in recent memory: opioid abuse.

In the first five months of of 2017, overdoses have increased by more than 70 percent compared to the same time period last year. Accidental overdose deaths have increased 113 percent in Allen County since 2008, with a 58 percent increase from 2014 to 2015. This epidemic is affecting all portions of the city. The victims are predominantly white, single, employed males.

Join us on Wednesday, August 2, as we go behind the headlines of this widespread epidemic. The panel discussion will be moderated by Chuck Clark, senior vice president of operations at Parkview Behavioral Health.
